Mrs. Jody Reed, Band Director |
Mrs. Jody Reed serves Wyneken as the band
director. Through her efforts, she has led Wyneken students to very impressive playing
abilities both individually and as a group. She leads two bands: the Introductory 5th
grade band, and the varsity 6th-8th graders. Our groups have performed in events at
Wyneken (Spring Concerts, chapels, graduations) and outside our school (the annual
Callithumpian Parade in Decatur).
Professionally, Mrs. Reed is a graduate of Bellmont High School and Indiana
University--Fort Wayne. Her full-time occupation is running The Music House in Decatur.
As you could imagine, her main hobby also
revolve around music. She enjoys playing piano, and also enjoys reading. She and her two
children reside in Decatur. Her favorite hymns are It is Well With My Soul and Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty.
