Wyneken's 5th Principal
(served 1997-2000)

Jim Krupski is no stranger to Lutheran education. His father, Otto, has served as a Lutheran pastor for over 40 years. His brothers also serve as pastors and educators. Jim himself has served as a Lutheran educator since 1982, his graduation year from Concordia University in River Forest, Illinois.

He has served congregations in Gretna, Louisiana; Detroit, Michigan; and Fort Wayne, Indiana. He has taught both high school (primarily history) and elementary school. In 1997, following completion of his Master of Arts degree in school administration at Indiana University in Fort Wayne, he was called to be the fifth principal of Wyneken Memorial Lutheran School.

Jim is known as a tireless individual, who is also active in serving on the Indiana District Board of Education. He is a big fan of the University of Michigan, and his hobby is reading history. An excellent baritone singer himself, he considers Abide with Me to be his favorite hymn.

In Spring of 2000, Mr. Krupski accepted a call to become principal of Zion Lutheran School, New Palestine, Indiana. We thank God for having provided Jim here, and for his outstanding tenure of service.
