Process
- Spend 3 - 4 classes browsing the
following web sites.
- Answer these questions in your
journal.
- Fill in name of stock and purchasing price (total not to exceed $10,000.00) in the Stock Market
Portfolio. Once a week determine the value of your
stocks and record on table.
- During this time use the Stock
Market Simulation to track your
investments.
- At the end of 4 weeks calculate your
gains/losses and decide if you want to buy or sell.
- Use information to begin 2nd Stock Market
Portfolio table. Repeat process until table is
complete.
- After completing your 3rd Stock Market
Portfolio graph your information and the projected
outcome after nine years.
- Using the Prediction Calculator
determine if your goal could be reached in 9 years at the
average interest your investment is making.
- If not how many years at this interest
would it take to reach your goal or at what interest rate would you have to
have to reach your goal in 9 years.
