 About the pastor:Rev. Daniel Dahling is the pastor of Zion Lutheran Church (Friedheim), one of the oldest congregations in The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod. In fact, one of its early Pastors was indeed Rev. F.C.D. Wyneken, our school's namesake. |
| Pastor is from Allen County, having attended Central Lutheran School and Concordia Lutheran High School. His bachelor's degree is from Indiana University, and his Master's in Divinity was earned at Concordia Theological Seminary--Fort Wayne, Indiana. |
| Pastor Dahling teaches confirmation classes to 7th and 8th graders,
and leads Morning Prayer
and weekly chapel services. His hobbies include
gardening, Indiana & Civil War history, and sports. Of course, his favorite team in
the whole wide world is: Indiana University's Hoosiers. A frequent traveler, he also
has the distinction of having attended football games at all past and present Big Ten
schools. He resides in the Zion parsonage with his wife Tamara, and his two kids, Henry and Lydia. |
