| About the pastor: Rev. Thomas Olson is the Pastor of St. John (Bingen). He also serves Wyneken through Confirmation instruction, Morning Prayer and chapel leadership. He also serves as a varsity boys' soccer coach. |

Rev. Olson has attained degrees from many institutions. He has
attended Bethany Lutheran Junior College (Associate's degree), and attained his
baccalaureate from Concordia College, St. Paul Minnesota (home of his beloved Vikings!).
He received his Master of Divinity and S.T.M. degrees from Concordia Theological Seminary
-- Fort Wayne. He also holds a Master of Arts degree from Southern Methodist University in
Dallas, Texas (home of his other favorite team, the Cowboys). His wife, Deb, is a Wyneken teacher. The Olsons have three children: Beth, Jon, and Katie. His hobby is playing tennis, and his favorite hymn is verse 3 of "Lord, Thee I Love with All My Heart". Click here to return to the main menu. |
