No, he's not one of the gray-haired men in the middle of the photo. The partially-obscured Sam Conrad (he is standing next to the redheaded man is currently serving his second internship in Washington, D.C. In this photo, he and several other interns pose aside Vice President Dick Cheney and President George W. Bush. Sam is serving his 2nd capital internship, as he works toward the end of his degree from Indiana University. His parents, Dr. Dave and Teri Conrad, as well as brothers Jacob and Aaron (who has served Wyneken as a varsity boys' basketball coach) are members of Zion Lutheran Church (Friedheim). |
